HIGH MASTS WITH FIXED PLATFORM

 

The high mast with fixed platform comprises of the following elements:

SHAFT: The mast has a conical shaped trunk with polygonal cross section, made in S355 JR – UNI EN 10025 – sheet steel press-folded and welded longitudinally.

The process has been certified by the italian institute of welding. The mast comprises of sections to be assembled on site with the “Slip on joint” compression jointing method.

LADDER: Made of steel is positioned at the back of the fixed platform, bolted to the mast supports.

RESTING STAGES: This is on the same level as the ladder, 1000×620 mm with a screened anti slip surface, toe clip, safety balustrade, plkatform and trap door.

FIXED PLATFORM: The fixed platform is situated behind the bank of floodlights, equipped with a frame suitable to suppoort the floodlights. The platform consists of a welded steel frame with a screened anti splip surface, toe clip, 1200 mm safety balustrade and trap door.

FINISHING: The frame, with steel components, is hot dip galvanized according to UNI EN ISO 1461.

HIGH MASTS WITH MOBILE CROWN-NEOFAR

HIGH MASTS WITH MOBILE CROWN “NEOFAR”

The high mast “Neofar” comprises of the following elements:

SHAFT: The mast has a conical shaped trunk with polygonal cross section, made in S355 JR – UNI EN 10025 – sheet steel press-folded and longitudinally welded.

The process has been certified by the italian institute of welding.

Space is proveded in the base section for the winch and for electrical switchgear and wiring.

The mast comprises of sections to be assembled on site with the “Slip on joint” compression jointing method.

CROWN GUIDED MANUAL MOBILE SYSTEM

Top of the pole: the return pulley for operating the cable is positioned at the top of the pole. At the upper extremity of the pole the following fixtures are also mounted:

  • Hooking device of the mobile platform to reduce load on the rope from the weight of the crown and the floodlights
  • Antirotations dowel pins (pivots) designed to neutralize the force of wind on the floodlights

Mobile crown: made of steel, accepts installation of floodlights and relevant control gear. It locks at the top of the pole trough a mechanical hooking device. The mobile crown integrtes with the sliding carriage, which houses the parachute brake internally.

Guides: Constructed of light alloy and longitudinally fixed to the shaft. It allows the correct raising/lowering of the mobile crown even in windy conditions. It provides a smooth suface contact for the parachute brake.

Cable: In high corrosion resistant galvanized steel.

Carriage: Constructed of hot-galvanized steel sections. The movement of the aluminium guide is controlled by sliding blocks/shoes. The hooking is achievd with two laminated steel rods. The exclusive “NCM” PARACHUTE BRAKE system is positioned in the centre of the carriage. It includes a steel cable fixing block, a regulation screw and a thooted lever wich acts as a brake during the operation of the brake spring.

The brake is activated the instant the traction rope loses tension.

Motion control unit is constituted by a winch controlled by a handle.

Electrical accessories: An intelocking socket is positioned inside the housing at the base of the mast, for the sectioning  of the line for the power of the floodlights. This cable is fixed inside the masts. At the top of the pole a set of male/female sockets allows an infinite number of operations.

Protection cover: The electical and hooking devices at the top are potcted by a fibre glass dome cover.

Finishing: The complete structure is hot dip galvanized according to standards UNI EN ISO 1461.

HIGH MASTS WITH MOBILE CROWN  “MEGAFAR”

The high mast “Megafar” comprises of the following elements:

SHAFT: The mast has a conical shaped trunk with polygonal cross section, made in S355 JR – UNI EN 10025 – sheet steel press-folded and longitudinally welded.

The process has been certified by the italian institute of welding.

The mast comprises of sections to be assembled on site with the “Slip on joint” compression jointing method.

Space is proveded in the base section for the winch and for electrical switchgear and wiring.

Carriage: Constructed of hot-galvanized steel sections. The movement of the aluminium guide is controlled by sliding blocks/shoes. The hooking is achievd with two laminated steel rods. The exclusive “NCM” PARACHUTE BRAKE system is positioned in the centre of the carriage. It includes a block, where tha cable is sicured, a regulation screw and a thooted lever wich acts as a brake during the operation of the brake spring. The braking of the carriage takes places every time the traction rope loses tension.

Driving gear: It consist of an irrevrsible reducing gear poitioned inside the mast and it connected to a drum for the winding on the rope. The gear is driven by  mobil motor wich could be use to several masts. The mobile motori s powered by the same line for electrical supply of the floodlights. All controls are low voltag 24v.

Electrical accessories: An intelocking socket is positioned inside the housing at the base of the mast, delivers power of the floodlights. This cable is fixed inside the masts. At the top of the pole a set of male/female sockets allows an infinite number of operations.

Protection cover: The electical and hooking devices at the top are potcted by a fibre glass dome cover.

Finishing: The complete structure is hot dip galvanized according to standards UNI EN ISO 1461.

TLC HIGH MAST

 

NCM proposes an economic product that can satisfy all requests.

This solution consents to reduce the impact on the environment and the installation time making the price more economic.

The types of high masts for TLC can be the following:

  • Monotubular towers, equipped with stairs and cable holder brackets, used for the installation of antennas along the shaft.
  • Monotubular towers equipped with stairs, cable holder brackets, and maintenance platform, placed on the top equipped with all the necessary equipment for the installation of the antennas.
  • Monotubular towers equipped on the top with a mobile crown to support illuminating projectors and a flagpole for fixing the antennas.

They have a truncated cone shape with a polygonal section and they are made by bending and welding the steel sheet trapezoids S355JR (Norm UNI EN 10025).

They are made up of several trunks,  which number varies according to the height of the pole, coupled with the slip-on-Joint method.

The high masts can be driven directly into the ground by means of a concrete foundation plinth, or, if equipped with a base plate, fixed to the plinth itself by foundation tie rods.

The welds are performed with a procedure approved by the Italian Welding Institute, with the help of qualified personnel and tested in accordance with the Standard UNI EN 3834-2.

The structures are marked CE and produced according to the normative UNI EN 1090 with performance class EXC  2.

The high masts are hot-dip galvanized by immersion in a zinc bath in compliance with the Standard UNI EN ISO 1461.

On customer’s request, powder coating is available according to the Standards UNI EN ISO 2409, class 1-2808.
