The poles are hot-dip galvanized by immersion in molten zinc in accordance with UNI EN ISO 1461.
Upon customer request, powder coating is available, applied in accordance with UNI EN ISO 2409, class 1–2808 – DIN 53132 – ASTM B117 standards.
The stepped pole is considered a traditional product.
It is a very simple structure, suitable for multiple applications such as urban and extra-urban lighting.
It is made of S235JR steel (compliant with UNI EN 10219 standard) and is obtained by pressing one end of ERW tubes, which are then joined together by circumferential welding at the taper points.
Welding is carried out using a process approved by the Italian Institute of Welding, with the support of qualified personnel.

Polygonal poles for public and large-area lighting are often used to provide a combination of functionality and aesthetic design. These products feature a multi-sided structure, typically octagonal, dodecagonal, or even more complex shapes.
Shape and Dimensions: Polygonal poles have sixteen sides and can vary in height and size depending on lighting requirements and the architectural or road context in which they are installed. The polygonal shape can offer a distinctive appearance and contribute to the overall aesthetics of the area.
Material: Octagonal poles are made of S355JR steel (in compliance with UNI EN 10025).
Height: The length of the pole depends on the application and the lighting needs of the area. Height and diameter can vary to meet specific project requirements. In the standard version, they range from 20 to 30 meters above ground.
Ground Fixing: Poles can be embedded directly into a concrete foundation or anchored to a foundation block using anchor bolts, in case they are equipped with a steel base plate welded to the bottom of the pole.
Finish: Polygonal poles are supplied with a protective coating consisting of hot-dip galvanization to withstand atmospheric agents. Painting is available on request to enhance long-term durability and visual appeal.
Lighting Compatibility: Polygonal poles are designed to support various types of lighting fixtures, including street lamps, floodlights, suspended lights, or other accessories. Some poles can integrate additional components such as photocells for automatic lighting control or mounts for security cameras.
Urban Design: The polygonal structure offers greater design flexibility, allowing the poles to blend more easily into the surrounding environment. The polygonal shape can also be combined with customizable heights to better meet the specific needs of public or large-area lighting.
The square pole is used in a wide variety of urban contexts such as squares, parks, or residential areas, where the architectural project requires a visible product with a strong personality, suitable for supporting designer lighting equipment.
It is manufactured by processing cold-formed ERW steel tubes in S235JR (Fe 360B) according to UNI EN 10025.
The poles are hot-dip galvanized by immersion in molten zinc in accordance with UNI EN ISO 1461.
On request, powder coating is available, carried out in accordance with UNI EN ISO 2409, class 1-2808 – DIN 53132 – ASTM B117.
POLES FOR MV-LV OVERHEAD LINES
NCM’s energy transmission solutions aim to reduce environmental impact through end-of-life product recycling.
They are manufactured from S235JR-S355JR steel sheets (in compliance with UNI EN 10025), press-bent and longitudinally welded using a process certified by the Italian Welding Institute, with the support of qualified personnel.
Welds are subject to quality control and testing in accordance with UNI EN 3834-2.
The poles have a polygonal shape (8 to 16 sides) and consist of one or more sections depending on the required height.
Sections are connected using the slip-on joint method.
They are supplied with features according to Enel standardization, based on the pole type.
Hot-dip galvanizing is carried out in accordance with UNI EN ISO 1461.
Each pole is identified with a marking indicating the manufacturer’s code, pole code, and year of manufacture.
Octagonal Poles for MV-LV Overhead Lines
ENEL STANDARD DS3010
For type L, A, and B poles, external bituminous wrapping is provided. For other pole types, this wrapping is not standard but can be applied upon request. All poles are supplied with a top closure cap.
The hinged pole is a functional solution for lighting sports facilities or areas with limited accessibility, mainly due to the simplicity and safety it offers for luminaire maintenance, which can be carried out directly at ground level.
The various available types, heights, and handling methods adaptable to different applications make it suitable for multiple needs.
The pole, with a truncated conical shape and circular, octagonal or polygonal cross-section, is manufactured by press-bending steel plate trapezoids made of S235JR – S355JR steel (in accordance with UNI EN 10025). It is then longitudinally welded using a certified process by the Italian Welding Institute, carried out by qualified personnel.
The poles are CE marked in compliance with UNI EN 40-3 and UNI EN 40-5 standards.
They are hot-dip galvanized by immersion in molten zinc in compliance with UNI EN ISO 1461.

Poles for supporting photovoltaic panels are used both for lighting roads and areas far from the power grid, as well as in hard-to-reach places such as mountainous areas.
They can be conical or stepped in shape.
They are usually supplied with a panel support and prearranged for the installation of all components required for the system to operate.

Fence poles are used as supports for protective netting around sports facilities and parks.
They are made of S235JR steel (in accordance with UNI EN 10219 standard) and obtained by circumferential welding of tubes with decreasing diameters toward the top, longitudinally welded.
Stepped in shape, they are equipped with hooks along the entire length for net support and provided with a PVC cap for top closure.
Welding is carried out using a process certified by the Italian Institute of Welding, with the help of qualified personnel.
The poles are hot-dip galvanized by immersion in molten zinc in accordance with UNI EN ISO 1461.
Upon customer request, powder coating is available, applied in accordance with UNI EN ISO 2409, class 1–2808 – DIN 53132 – ASTM B117 standards.
The reinforcement struts are made from S235JRH steel tubes – UNI EN 10219 – and hot-dip galvanized according to UNI EN ISO 1461. One end is flattened and drilled for fixing to the pole.
The flagpole is designed to enhance the image of the company or institutional body that uses it.
The N.C.M. range of flagpoles, customizable to meet customer needs, includes the following types:
